What does justice mean to you?
To me, justice means making sure every person is heard, respected, and treated fairly, no matter their circumstances. It’s about standing up for what’s right, even when it’s hard, and using the law not just as a system of rules but as a tool to protect and empower those who need it most. Justice is about outcomes, yes—but just as importantly, it’s about the process and the people we’re serving along the way.
What is your greatest professional “superpower,” and how do you use it?
My greatest professional super power is my white belt mentality. I try to approach every situation with a goal of learning something new and honing my craft. The legal field is exciting, and we are faced with new challenges daily. Learning how to address and overcome those challenges is something that I deeply enjoy.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is: “Stay true to your purpose, even when things get hard.” It’s a reminder that even in high-pressure situations or emotionally heavy cases, staying focused on why we do this work—helping people, seeking truth, and fighting for fairness—gives us the clarity and drive to keep pushing forward. That advice has stuck with me and really shapes how I show up every day.
